Bell B40D
The Bell B40D is not only the B50's little brother, but also possesses additional features!. The B40 was designed with an innovative drive concept and , the bodywork was created using a completely different technique in order to be able to resemble the real life truck .The new parts have been re customized further.
The full-engineered solid axles of the B40 have been adapted to the new drive concept and assembly was simplified even further. Every wheel is equipped with a brushless motor, which allows to deliver approx. 100W per wheel if and when needed. The added advantage of brushless motors are significantly more efficient than an ordinary brushed motor and thus this increase the efficiency of the entire drive train. This means there is a significant savings in battery power when operated in normal mode
The welded steel frame parts - developed in even greater detail - are the basis of the B40 . The new moulded parts, hood and further components consisting of glass fiber reinforced plastics are a true visual treat and are delivered mostly ready for installation. The cutouts for the radiator and window panes are the only tasks to be handled , tasks which can be completed quickly done even by inexperienced modelers. Not only are the parts delivered almost entirely pre-assembled, but the details which can be achieved by using advance manufacturing methods. It goes without saying that, contrary to the B50, the hood is now a separate part. This model is a self-assembly kit which requires adequate technical knowledge rather than a plug and play device.
